About Me
Lucy Goodin - Class of 2028
My name is Lucy Goodin. I am a student athlete and an ECNL soccer player. I live in Collierville, TN and attend Collierville High school where I maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am a dedicated, high-work rate athlete known for my technical ability and physicality as a 5'8 center back. I have played soccer for much of my life and currently play for Sting Black ECNL 2010 in Dallas, TX. I am now over halfway through my third season with Sting Black ECNL and have loved every minute of it. Off the field, I spend my time playing on the lacrosse team for my high school and working at out a local gym to ensure I remain at my strongest and healthiest on the pitch.

This is my third year playing for Sting Black 2010 ECNL in Dallas, Texas. I wear #44 for Sting Black and am a physical defender with excellent technical ability. I’m a 5’8 center back and am very comfortable playing both sides. I am most proud of my versatility to also play outside back and the six.

We had a great season last year and won the U15 ECNL North American Cup Championship in San Diego! It was awesome and an amazing achievement for us. This season we are off to a good start with a record of 4-2-5 in the very difficult ECNL Texas Conference. I am very proud of how tough our team is defensively. We have only given up 6 goals in 11 games! We have a busy spring schedule with 4 more conference games and three showcases. My game schedule is provided in the last section of my site. ​​​

Technical &
Fitness Training
Being strong technically and physically are the two parts of my game that I am most proud of. Since I was little, I have put a lot of work into ball mastery and having great feet. As a center back, I think it is also very important to be strong and physical. I have been training at (ELP) Elite Level Performance (www.elitelevelperformance.com) for over three years. My sister Ava plays soccer for Northwestern University in the Big 10. She got me started at ELP, which specializes in programs designed for college and professional athletes. I train at ELP 3-4 days per week and love it. I also have a lot of fun training with Ava whenever she is home from school.
